BCMS Family Update

Dear BCMS Families,

We have many exciting events on the horizon and want to make sure families are aware of a few important upcoming dates.

Spring Sports Tryouts will take place during the week of March 9th. Earlier this week, we encouraged all students interested in trying out to log into Genesis to check their athletic clearance status. We ask that families also take a moment to review this with your child to ensure they are medically cleared in preparation for tryouts.

If you have any questions regarding athletic clearance requirements, please reach out to our school nurse, Mrs. Hoffman, as soon as possible so that everything is in place prior to tryouts.

We are also excited for our upcoming spring musical, Shrek Jr., taking place March 13th–15th. Our students have been preparing for months, and we cannot wait for our community to see their hard work come to life on stage. Please see the information below regarding ticket sales.

New Books in the Media Center!

The BCMS media center is freshly stocked with over 150 brand new books! Graphic novels, biographies, topic based mini encyclopedias, and a whole shelf of new novels are waiting for you!

Harlem Wizards Tickets Now Available for Purchase!

Tickets for the highly anticipated Harlem Wizards Event on 3/20/26 are now on sale to the general public!

  • Tickets are nonrefundable. All proceeds to support the future BCMS Drama Club Productions.
  • Online ticket sales will end one hour before showtime. Tickets can be purchased at the door. Ticket sales at the door will be by check only. Checks are to be made out to BCMS, memo: Drama Club.
  • Doors will open 15 minutes before the performance.
  • Seating is on a first-come basis at each performance. 
  • Reserve seating is for handicapped attendees only. Don't hesitate to get in touch with Ms.Mileto if your guests require handicapped seating (kmileto@branchburg.k12.nj.us).
  • If you are a volunteer collecting or selling Tickets at the door or at our sundry table, you will receive free admittance to the show of your choice (as you may miss the first 15 minutes of the show you are working on). Thank you for your above-and-beyond support.
  • If you are a volunteer Backstage parent, you will receive one free ticket to a show of your choosing (you will not see the show you are working on). Thank you for your above-and-beyond support.

To support students and families throughout the transition to high school, our school counselors have created a Google Classroom that will serve as a central hub for important information, timelines, resources, and updates.
