BCMS Family Update

Dear BCMS Families,

It has been another exciting week here at BCMS, and I would like to begin by congratulating our Girls Basketball Team on an outstanding season. We are incredibly proud of their hard work, dedication, and teamwork. It was wonderful to see so many of our students, staff, and families come out to support the team throughout the season and at the championship game. Your presence and encouragement mean so much to our student-athletes and truly reflect the strength of our school community.

I would also like to extend a sincere thank you to the parents and PTO members who helped organize and support the recent SkyZone event. Opportunities like this provide our students with a chance to connect with their peers outside of the school day and contribute to the positive culture we continue to build at BCMS. We appreciate your time, effort, and commitment to creating memorable experiences for our students.

As a reminder, there is no school on Monday in recognition of Presidents’ Day. We hope everyone enjoys the three-day weekend and has an opportunity to rest and recharge. We look forward to welcoming students back on Tuesday.
Thank you, as always, for your continued partnership and support.

Warm regards,
Beth Stanton
Principal, BCMS

Student Recognition

Congratulations BCMS Girls Basketball Team!

The BCMS Girls Basketball Team competed in the championship game against a tough Hillsborough team. The girls fought hard from start to finish, worked together as a team, made some incredible shots, and showed great teamwork on defense. Their effort, resilience, and commitment were outstanding. We are incredibly proud of this team and the hard work they put in all season to reach the championship. They represented BCMS with pride, sportsmanship, and determination.

We are also extremely proud of our school community. So many students, staff, and families came out to Hillsborough to cheer on their teammates and show their support. Your energy, encouragement, and school spirit truly demonstrated what it means to be part of BCMS.

Congratulations BCMS MathCounts Team!

MathCounts had a challenging but rewarding Math competition at Mercer County College this weekend. There were 193 students competing for the top team and individual in Somerset and Mercer Counties. Our team worked hard and did their best. Our team top scorer was 8th grader Keshav P. Let’s give the whole team our heartiest congratulations for all of their hard work. Special thanks to club advisor, Ms. Peterson!

Student Council Sticker Bulletin Board

As a way to say thank you for their support, assistance, and guidance during the planning and execution of the Winter Formal, Student Council Officers created a "Teacher Sticker" Bulletin Board in the Faculty Room.

Staff were invited to stop by to grab a sticker (or a few), to adorn their laptop or water bottle! Thanks to Ms. Holt & Mrs. Martoccia for coordinating this wonderful token of appreciation.
