BCMS Family Update

Dear BCMS Families,

I hope you and your family had a restful break and enjoyed meaningful time together with family and friends.

January is often a time for resets, resolutions, and goal setting. At BCMS, we will be using this time to reset expectations with students through grade-level assemblies on Monday. During these assemblies, we will revisit our schoolwide philosophy of Falcon PRIDE and reinforce the importance of students taking ownership of their behavior and choices throughout the school day. This includes expectations for respectful conduct on the bus, appropriate behavior in the cafeteria, following directions and maintaining focus in class, especially when a substitute teacher is present, and contributing positively to our school community. Families can support this work at home by talking with students about starting 2026 strong, making responsible choices, and understanding how their actions impact others.

This week brings no special schedules, and we are looking forward to settling back into strong routines as we head into the second half of the second marking period. These consistent routines are an important foundation for student success, both academically and socially.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support at home and for partnering with us as students work toward their goals. We are excited to begin the new year together.

Warmly,
Dr. Stanton, Principal
