BCMS Family Update

Dear BCMS Families,

As we finish out our Thanksgiving week, we are focused on the theme of thankfulness here at BCMS. Our goal was to help students reflect not only on what they are grateful for in their own lives, but also on how they can show appreciation and care for others. This work is an important part of building a school community rooted in empathy, kindness, and connection.

In today’s Falcon Foundations lesson, students participated in a schoolwide activity to express gratitude. Students created thank-you cards for many of the people who support our school and community each day, including our maintenance team, office staff, school nurse, bus drivers, crossing guards, and cafeteria staff. Their messages of appreciation were heartfelt and thoughtful, and we are proud of the way our students recognized the contributions of others.

Our focus on giving continues into December as we continue our Thankful Threads donation drive. We will be collecting new or gently used coats, scarves, winter hats, gloves, snow boots, hoodies, sweaters, or socks to support individuals and families as we head into the colder months. Thank you in advance for any contributions you are able to make—together, we can make a meaningful difference.

Wishing all of our BCMS families a warm, restful, and joyful Thanksgiving. We are grateful for your partnership and for the incredible community we are lucky to serve.
Have a wonderful holiday week!

Dr. Stanton, Principal
