Falcon Family Message from Dr. Stanton

Dear BCMS Families,

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Back to School Night! We hope you found the evening helpful in getting to know your child’s teachers and informative about what to expect for the year ahead. It was wonderful to see so many families in the building.

This week, tryouts wrapped up for our fall sports teams, including girls’ and boys’ soccer and cross country. I want to thank everyone for their patience in getting sports physicals and paperwork submitted as we launched the new school year. We wish all of our teams the best of luck in the upcoming season!

We continue to refine our dismissal procedures to ensure that all students are safe and accounted for at the end of the day. If you would like your child to have permission to walk home, please be sure to complete the Walker Permission Form in your Genesis parent portal.

Looking ahead, there are two important events next week:

  • Picture Day is Monday. Please see the information below for details on ordering.
  • The Referendum Vote will take place Tuesday. For details on the referendum and information on how to vote, please visit the referendum website.

Free/Reduced Lunch Application

A friendly reminder, the free/reduced lunch application must be re-submitted each year and does not automatically renew. A copy of the application can be found on our district website at : https://www.branchburg.k12.nj.us/student-lunch-forms

Winter Sports Forms Due

All sports forms for winter sports are due to our school nurse, Mrs. Hoffman, by October 3, 2025. There are no exceptions to this deadline.

  • Reporting Attendance: Instructions to report your child's tardy/absent/early dismissal in genesis are linked here
  • Student Drop-Off: Students may enter the building beginning at 7:57 A.M.. Please do not drop off students in the bus area.
  • Breakfast and lunch are available for purchase daily. Menus are linked here.
